Change of access codes

In this section you can change your access codes:

1. Numeric access code or PIN: eight numbers that allow you the access to Banamex Audiomatic and mobile to carry out several operations between your Banamex accounts.

2. Alphanumeric access code or password of eight characters (numbers and letters): It allows the access to all BancaNet features.

In order to change any of your codes, follow these steps:

1. Enter your numeric and/or alphanumeric access code.
2. Enter your new numeric and/or alphanumeric access code.
3. Confirm your numeric and/or alphanumeric access code.
4. Click "Accept".
5. Once you have changed your codes, you need to log in again to BancaNet using the code you have just created.

Remember:

  • In case you have not completed any of the fields, an error message pops up.
  • If your forget any of the access code, you may request it at any branch.
  • If you have doubts on any of the rules, you may click the dot-underlining words to obtain further information.
  • When you change your access code:

     • It should not contain more than two equal consecutive numbers or letters.
     • It should be easy for you to remember and difficult to find out by other people.
     • It should not contain your customer number or Banamex name.
     • A window will pop up helping you with the available letters or number for each box.

  • To form your numeric access code or PIN:

     • It should be made up of 8 numbers and it cannot start with a “0” zero.
     • The valid numbers are: from zero to nine.

  • To form your alphanumeric access code or password:

     • It must have 8 numbers and / or letters and start with a letter.
     • Valid letters are from "a" to "z", "A" to "Z".
     • You can use capital or small letters.
     • Special characters or accented letters are not allowed.
     • Once your access code complies with the requirements, a green tick appears to the left.

Buttons:

"Accept": Opens the following screen.
"Cancel": Cancels the change.
